Why am I a photographer?

I consider photography my calling. 15 years ago I first picked up a camera and realized that this is exactly what I want to do.
I like to capture beauty, I like to create it. To create my own beautiful worlds.
I know that digital photos are not durable, and perhaps the profession of a photographer is not either, but this is what gives me the incentive to create.

Just to leave behind a little more beauty than there was before me.
